I have tried to see inside the OS display settings, but it does not go to max. When I go to View>Virtual Screen 1, all the resize to resolution all greyed outed.

Message was edited by: WoodyZ - Added note for "Enable access for assistive devices" and additional information on intended use as a workaround, not a fix. sudo VBoxClient -clipboard Installing virtualbox-guest-x11 package also resolves the issue where the shared folders are not visible. I was running an MS-DOS VM and oopsed and zoomed it too small to see the View menu.
You can get list of supported screen size along with number using xrandr command: The SZ number can be passed to xrandr -sThe xrandr -s 0 command will setup screen size to 1024×763 pixels. I had this problem and solved it, but it may depend upon my having different OS VMs. The xrandr command is used to set the screen size, orientation and/or reflection. Message was edited by: WoodyZ - Modified Script to account for whether the View menu shows "Hide Toolbar" or "Show Toolbar" as the bounds list item 4 (h) would be a +77 with the default "Hide Toolbar" showing and a +44 with "Show Toolbar" showing. Try stoping the VM then click on start (inside the stoped VM) and go faster to the menu View -> Zoom level and change the zoom level when it will available. In the Resolution drop down list, select the desired screen resolution you want to set for the selected display.

If you have multiple monitors connected to the computer, select the required display. These commands will just make temporary changes until the system is rebooted. This is the final command which will change the resolution of your unknown display. If you can select 1,920 x 1,080 from the list, do so and youre good. The new resolution is now successfully added and we just need to set it using this command: xrandr output VGA1 mode 1440x90060.00. 2- Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings > click on the Resolution box.
